学生识别兴趣并将其链接到毕业后的途径。
Intrinsic students learn to identify their interests, and how to link those interests with a specific, chosen postsecondary pathway. Over time, students develop a deep sense of who they are and their emerging life’s purpose, and learn to tie today’s decisions with their post-high school aspirations, academic planning, and short- and long-term goals.
Starting in Spring 2023, Intrinsic started to disburse $1.5 million per year in renewable scholarship dollars. We started with our Class of 2023 at both campuses, and will continue to award scholarships for 2- and 4-year programs. While funds are limited, we hope to assist as many students as possible to attend competitive colleges and universities, including trade and certification programs. 我们优先考虑咨询。由于辅导员与学生的比率非常低,我们与学生和家庭紧密合作,为每位学生设计个性化的毕业后计划。家庭不断强调这是一种内在的力量。
All students apply to college or career programs with support from our postsecondary counselors. Students who choose college are expected to apply to an average of six schools. By analyzing historical data about acceptances and financial aid, we are able to guide students toward colleges where they are likely to be admitted, receive the most financial aid, access support for first generation college students when needed, and earn their degree.
Intrinsic hosts many family workshops year-round. And every spring, our counseling team sits down with every senior and their family for an in-person strategy session. Students select and commit to their post-graduation plan and prepare for success by signing any promissory notes for funding, formally enrolling, and scheduling their orientation.
In March 2023, Intrinsic Schools launched a new scholarship program for any graduate of our Downtown OR Belmont Campus – $1.5M per high school class, or $375,000 per year, renewable for up to four years. The goal of the scholarship is to help students access schools that they couldn’t without this extra support and reduce longer-term student debt.
In addition, we provide emergency funding for unforeseen college needs, as well as scholarships for summer enrichment experiences during high school. This allows students to ‘practice’ leaving home and living on a college campus while making their resumes more competitive.
We offer all Intrinsic students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. Students can begin taking college courses as early as the spring semester of Grade 10. We also offer a limited number of dual credit opportunities where students take college courses onsite at Intrinsic.
