Intrinsic Schools是由来自芝加哥公立学校的一组教育工作者建立的，旨在为芝加哥的初中和高中学生提供一种全新的优秀公立学校选择。

We provide a strong academic foundation through challenging, grade-level instruction. Intrinsic students learn to think critically, solve problems, communicate clearly and reflect on their learning.

Because success in young adulthood also requires a strong sense of self, the ability to work well with others, and the tenacity to rebound from challenges, we explicitly teach and help students live out our EPIC values of Empathy, Perseverance, Identity and Curiosity.

POD

Strong Instruction. 我们个性化指导，并鼓励使用“ POD”实现独立。 POD是我们的教室，但它们是灵活的，外观也有所不同：每个POD都有三名团队老师和60名以上的学生，他们在老师指导的教学，独立和小组工作以及基于项目的学习之间轮换-所有这些都是基于每个学生的个人需求。

Summit Curriculum

Exposure & Opportunities. Intrinsic students learn to identify their interests, and how to link those interests with an individualized postsecondary pathway. Over time, students develop a deep sense of who they are and their emerging life’s purpose, and learn to tie today’s decisions with their postsecondary aspirations, academic planning, and short- and long-term goals.
