Remote Learning. Asynchronous. Synchronous. These terms are becoming a part of our everyday conversation when discussing education. At Intrinsic, we have partnered with students, families and staff across both campuses to make our remote learning plan for Fall 2020. Together, we identified four main needs:
- Structure and predictability for students
- Limiting “on camera” screen time to three classes per day
- Reducing class size to 20 students per class to encourage greater participation
- Daily advisory for social/emotional support and student-to-student connections
