Choice Day
Practicing self-direction and ownership for learning.
Choice Day (C Day) provides opportunities for students to align their learning experiences with personal goals. One day per week, students choose academic options based on their individual needs – study groups, peer tutoring, office hours – and participate in enrichment activities based on individual interests – coding, dance, culinary arts or others.
During Choice Day, students learn to use new resources to meet their goals, connect to the school community, and explore a variety of interests to discover their passions and develop a strong identity.
