First and foremost, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to all the students, families, and staff who took the time to participate in the principal interview process. Your voices, insights, and care were central to this critical decision, and we are so thankful for your partnership in shaping the future of our Downtown Campus.
With that same spirit of community, we are thrilled to announce Rose Traubert as the new Principal of Intrinsic Downtown. A passionate educator, visionary leader, and fierce advocate for educational equity, Rose brings incredible experience and a deep commitment to student success.
This is more than a new chapter—it’s a heartfelt homecoming. Rose previously served as our Director de Innovación Académica, where she coached and developed teachers, led professional learning communities, and created rigorous, inclusive curricula that elevated learning across grades. Her time at Intrinsic left a lasting impression, and we are excited to welcome her back, now at the helm.
Since leaving Intrinsic, Rose has led with impact on a national stage. At the National Education Equity Lab, she most recently served as Managing Director of Academics, delivering 29 college-level courses to over 7,500 high school students across more than 400 schools. She worked shoulder-to-shoulder with professors, teaching fellows, and high school educators to make college more accessible and meaningful for students.
Rose’s track record is a powerful blend of strategic leadership and hands-on dedication. From setting record AP pass rates in her classroom, coaching educators toward excellence, and designing systems that serve thousands of students, she leads with clarity, compassion, and purpose. Rose holds a BA with Honors in Social Studies and a Master’s in Education from Harvard University. She is excited to return to Intrinsic and lead our community into its next era — one defined by joyful learning, bold equity work, and student-centered innovation.
