ELA Teacher (9th)
Before joining Intrinsic in 2013 as a Reading Intervention teacher, Ms. Buntrock spent three years teaching in Chicago Public Schools. Before becoming a teacher, she worked as a Supervising Editor for National Geographic School Publishing/Cengage, Rigby Education, and Scott Foresman, writing English language arts curriculum for English language learners and adolescent struggling readers. She is a graduate of Ohio University’s E. W. Scripps School of Journalism and obtained her master’s degree in teaching at Columbia College of Chicago. She is very excited to be working as a ninth grade Special Education teacher this year. In addition to working at Intrinsic, she enjoys listening to music, attending Evanston high school sporting events, travel, and all kinds of adventure.
